Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) must have: a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work from a school approved by the Kentucky Board of Social Work; two years of experience beyond that; passed state exams; and paid appropriate fees. In additional, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) must take 30 Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) every 3-year licensing period.
